Navigating Luck and Wealth through the Chinese New Year.

Chinese New Year is this coming Weekend. (February 10th, 2024)

The Year of Fire~ Period 9 (Li Gua) entered Last February 4th at 4:26 PM. It was also the start of the Year of the Dragon ( so if you had a baby after this date, your child will be under the sign of the Dragon!

Here are some date suggestions for activating Luck and Wealth this coming Chinese New Year

1) Li -Chun day - Feb 4th= Most Asian countries practice the activity of putting money in the bank on this day, but most Feng Shui Masters do not believe in this.

According to FS Master Mindy Yoong, unless one receives their salary,bonus, rent, payment of debts on this date, the ancient Chinese practice of depositing money in the bank on this day would not be a very good idea since the year clashes with the first day of the Dragon year. Doing major financial and money transactions may not be auspicious on this day.

Activity~Doing acts of charity, cleansing, prayers, learning, helping others, starting a new healthy regimen and mindset would be more beneficial to start good luck for the year!

2) Zou - Chun day - First day of Chinese New Year ( Feb 10th)

To kickstart the New Year, It is a CNY practice to do a " Spring walk" with the direction going to the East or SE at the time of 6:05 Am to 11 AM. This activity signifies a healthy start for smooth sailing for a prosperous New Year!

Activity ~ walk and if possible finish your 356 steps , greet people you meet with blessings of prosperity then after finishing your steps, you can proceed to do your other activities for the day.

3) Receiving the god of Wealth ~ Manifestations for wealth

It is a practice at the start of the CNY to receive the god of Wealth ( you can read more on the god of wealth at wikipedia here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chinese_folk_religion)

Auspicious days and sectors to receive the god /Star of Wealth:

Day 1- Feb. 10th~ SE sector at 1:00 Am to 2:59 AM ( Ox hour)

Star of Happiness~ Day 2 - Feb 11th~ NE sector

Star of Nobility ~Day 3- Feb 12th~ SW sector or Day 4- Feb 13th~ SW sector

Day 5 - Feb 14th~ Return of the god of wealth - North sector

The god of wealth is actually the brightest star that night and where it is located ( like in the old saying" Wishing upon a star)

For most who do not practice Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism and ancient syncretic religions (* the blending of religious belief systems into a new system, or the incorporation of other beliefs into an existing religious tradition), receiving the god of wealth is an activity of manifesting wishes for good energies for wealth and good fortune, happiness, good health and great luck to come!

Activity~ Ensure that you have cleaned your home and that you are well kept and clean when you do the manifestation.

On the date you choose above, face the corresponding sector and respectfully state your name, your date of birth and where you live, then your "wish" for the year.

Your manifestation should be direct and concise; not in the form of a request; instead it should be stated as an affirmation or confirmation that your wish has already been granted

( i.e. ~ instead of stating "I wish for an increase in income". you should say "thank you for increasing my income to ~ state the actual amount you desire" )

Feb 4th to March 4th

Dec 6th to Jan 5th

"Do not however make any major financial investments on September 2024."

5) Qimen Manifestations

Yuan Dan (元旦), is a day traditionally used for paying respect, worship, manifestation, and saluting the year

The auspicious timing falls on the 10th of February 2024, between 9:40 pm and 10:15 pm (your local time).
At this timing, in the East, we have the combination of the Moon Deity and Hero, representing the Rise of the Ashes. This combination symbolizes rebirth, rejuvenation, a beacon of hope, renewed vitality, and destiny transformation

Manifestation Instructions
1️⃣ On February 10, 2024, between 9:40 pm - 10:15 pm (your local time), go to the East Sector of your house.
2️⃣ Once you are there, sit down with your head back to the East Direction.
3️⃣ Take your journal or paper and write down your intentions in the present tense.
4️⃣ Hold your paper or journal in your hands and visualise your intentions coming to life.
5️⃣ After your ritual, take inspired action toward your intentions .This can be as simple as creating a plan or taking a small step toward your goal.
By doing the above, you are harnessing the power of Qi Men and the New Moon to assist you in manifesting abundance, protection, growth, and happiness in your life.

a) To Boost Wealth:

NE sector- activate on Feb 16 at 6:05 PM to 7:00PM

Activity~ place earth elements

( 1.e.~clay or ceramic pots * preferably yellow in color, wealth bowl filled with citrine or yellow colored crystals)

Sit anywhere in the home with your back towards the NE and manifest your wishes!

b) For Academic Boost

SE sector of the study room- activate on March 7th at 4:05 PM to 5PM

or March 8th at 4:05 Am to 5AM ( better option

Activity~ sit anywhere in your study room with your back to the SE then manifest your wishes. You can place an electric fan at the SE 3 sector of your study room to run for an hour on the said time.

c) For Peach Blossom Boost

To find a partner, boyfriend or girlfriend in life

North sector of your bedroom - activate on February 13th at 6:05 AM to 7:00 AM

( just before Valentines day)

or on February 16th at 12:05PM to 1PM which is more beneficial for those who wish to find partners from foreign countries or other nationality.

Activity~ Arrange the sector in your bedroom where your personal peach blossom animal resides. then sit anywhere in your bedroom with your back to the North and manifest your wishes.

a) Empower your nobleman or Mentor luck by activating star 1 at the East Sector.
One should however verbalize and ask for help when activating this star. He or she must also be ready and deserving for the mentorship. ( you are well- equipped with the necessary skills and are emotionally and mentally ready for the help)
You can trigger this energy by placing "moving water" or a water feature at the East sector for a minimum of 2 weeks or simply just do your work at the sector.

b) To boost the energy for assets and property luck, increase in investments and your wealth portfolio, or to have success in raising funds~ activate star 2 by doing your investment activities / negotiations / signing of contracts , telephone conversations at the SE sector

You can also use fire at the SE 3 sector for a maximum of 2 weeks that you are doing your investments or negotiations.

When you activate Star 2 with Fire however, make sure that you do not have a debilitating illness and that you do not have the illness star in your chart this year ( i.e. Rabbit and Monkey). Also ensure that the external land forms at your SE sector are good.

c) Unlock your brain power to study new skills and advance your knowledge to be ahead of your peers for this very competitive year. This will help to improve your over-all income to achieve a better life style~ Activate star 4 (academic star) at the NW sector. This will be good for those who are working for other people and those who are trying to set up a business.

Activation can be done by putting your study table at the sector and doing your studies at the NW for at least 1 hour a day.

If you cannot be physically present at the NW, you can place some "Yin water" ( still water) at the NW 3 sector, and the positive energy can then flow into the North sector.

6) Flying Star Feng Shui

d) To solidify your authority or career and gain power ( especially if you work for other people) activate star 6 which is at the NE sector this 2024!

Remember though that to gain power, one must already have the capability and willingness to lead, arrive at a sound decision and make things done.

Set up your work table and work at the NE sector to avail this powerful energy!

e) If your field of work is in communications, advertising, networking, public speaking or one that requires creative and charismatic speech, Star 7 which is at the South sector would be a good star to activate to enhance this energy. Moreover, the combination of star 7 ( metal) with the fire of the South sector could provide increase in likeability.

Work at the South sector to activate this star. You however should not activate star 7 if you have negative land forms at the sector.

f) Activate the former wealth star 8 at the North sector if you want higher cash flow or increase in income. One should however be willing to work more, or is already in the process of doing ways to increase their income ( i.e. creating a side job, or aligning oneself to the profit generating stream of your company) will make this energy be effective. The results can also be seen after a period of time.

Placing an "appropriate size" of yang water at the North sector ( at an appropriate date) or by simply working and doing your important activities at the sector, will activate star 8.

g) The official wealth star for the new Period of Fire ~ star 9 is at the SW sector. This star is best activated if you are a business owner or entrepreneur, to have an exponential increase in income.

If one works for a company, activating this star will make one just work harder... unless you are promoted to expand your sphere of influence and salary.

To activate star 9~ do your work or most important activities at the sector . You can also place a small bucket of yang water at the sector

( at a specific timing or date~ February 12 at 11:30 AM is a good date to do this. )
